Default Drag Radial question

I am new to the Forum. Live in Panama, Rep. of Panama. Have a 2006 GT conv. with a Whipple blower and other good speed parts. I will like order a set of drag radials with the MOST traction possible (do not care about longevity) But I do not know what is the biggest size I can put under my stock fender wells without rubbing issues.

Thanks for the help
Daniel

If you're willing to trim your bump stop bracket and relocate your swaybar, you can fit up to a 325/50/15 drag radial on a 15x10 inch rim with a 7.5" backspace. For me, that's overkill. If you look at my sig pic, those are mickey thompson et street drag radials 275/60/15 on 15x8" rims with a 5.5" backspace. They fit with no modification to the car and are roughly 28" tall and 10.5" wide. If you really want to hook, you'll want the extra sidewall that you get with a 15" wheel.

Thanks a lot for the help. I will go with 275/60 since I do not want to cut the car.
