Default My Craigslist Score

I thought I'd share this with everybody since this is such a good score.

I've been looking for good prices on Eibach pro-kit springs for my V6 (although i know some on here don't like these products, after lots of research it had the drop I wanted.)

ANYWAYS!

after watching craigslist for the last little while, I saw these posted.

Brand New Eibach Pro-kit for 2005 - 2009 mustang V6 for $50

I thought this may a "too good to be true" post but I contacted the seller anyways and after going over to check it out, the part numbers matched up.

Damn 50 buxs is a great deal. Any idea why they were so cheap?

The seller's friend purchased the eibach pro-kit with shocks/struts, springs and swaybars, but apparently it was for the V6 instead of the GT. These springs would've lowered the front more than what he wanted, so he told his friend to just sell it for whatever. I saw it on craigslist a month ago for $150 (same seller cause it was the same post) and passed because I was short on cash last month. I got really lucky.

Wow, that's a steal!! Yep, the springs look exactly like the ones I installed a couple weeks ago!! Great find.

Here's mine after the install.

Yep, that's definitely a steal...and it's even better if that's the size drop you wanted for your car.

You might want to start looking into a new set of shocks/struts, too - assuming you don't already have an aftermarket set - ...more for ride comfort than anything else, if you're just trying to improve the look/feel on a dd car.

wow Kevenmalec that looks gorgeous. I've only got 17's on it but I LOVE that wheel gap. How does it ride?

I am very tempted to just throw the springs in but I do want ride quality, so I'm saving up for a set of shocks and struts so I only have to do it once and propery.

I appreciate the kind comment!
Well, with my 20's, the ride is a bit rougher when driving over bumps/dips/holes in the road. I definitely have to drive with caution on certain roads. The Stang handles great when cornering and making sharp turns!
Since you have 17's with a lot of rubber, it won't be as harsh as my set up.
Good luck with the install and let me know your thoughts once your all set up!
