I've read that you can use SVT mount or a spacer to install '05-'10 struts on a 2011. What is the spacer? Is it a sleeve or a washer? I don't want to buy SVT mounts only to replace them with CC plates down the road.

 

Its the upper spring isolator. In order to buy it, you have to buy the whole strut mount, which will run you about $100 for the both of them.
