WHEN will we get 2011+ specific struts??
Anyone know? Anyone? Want to lower my car with new springs/dampers and will be using steeda HD mounts, but I refuse to waste $100 on 2010 OEM struts just to get the isolators out so it will work.

Maybe never. There is no reason for these companies to tool up an entire new series of parts when even Ford Racing says just use the older mounts. They work perfectly. Koni has considered it, as far as I know they are the only ones of the big players that have even gone that far.... and no, nothing is in production. They can't even keep up with the demand for the current stuff.

Well Eibach has stepped up made 2011 specific struts which are due to ship in July. Not sure how good they are though. I was hoping Koni would make SR.T's in 2011 versions because that's what I wanted to go with....

The strut isn't the problem, its the spring and how it connects with the strut mount. The strut doesn't care what spring isolator you use. Its more of a spring issue. Maximum Motorsports actually has a strut mount/caster-camber plate that allows you to use the stock 2011+ isolators, but limits you to only 2011+ springs. You can use either 2005-2010 struts or 2011+ struts, only difference is with a 2005-2010 strut you must use a spacer that is supplied.

If you glance through the instructions you can see the differences in the struts. For the sake of being able to use a wider variety of springs, I'd recommend just getting the 2005-10 spring isolators

I called MM a few months ago, after I ordered the D-Specs from Sam for my 2011, to see about their spacers since I was planning on having the Ford shop down here install the struts and I figured that 2 large spacers would be easier for them to understand that a handful of flat spacers. MM told me that no way, no how should I use their spacers for this, that it would result in catastrophic failure and what-not.
Funny how sales pitches change.
