Default FRPP shocks

i have an 07 Shelby GT 4.6L that came with FRPP stage 3 handling pack and the shocks are non-adjustable. the ride height is 1.5" lower than stock. i want to know if the adjustable version of ford racing shocks will give me the ability to soften the ride even just a little because its my daily driver. i heard of other brands that are superior, but i have already purchased the ford racing shocks and hope i haven't made a mistake.i know i know. i'll probably be beating myself over the head for buying these.

i do love the handling when i'm on the open road, but when i'm in town its a little hard to take. railroad crossing, potholes, the usual battlefield of city streets.
i have a set of Bilsteins on my tundra and they ride like a cadilac. i probably shoulda tried to get that brand for the Shelby
