I run mine 1 turn from full hard on the front and 1/2 turn from full hard on the back.

Well, I think you would have to try it out on the track first and see what the car is doing. I'd say initially, with the heavier front the car is going to want to tend towards more understeer, so you're actually going to want to SOFTEN the front to provide more front end grip. If you get oversteer, just do the opposite and make the rear softer compared to the front. Of course this will only affect transitory handling characteristics. If you encounter steady state understeer, that can only be fixed with springs, adjustable swaybars, and/or camber adjustment.

well after the weekend i only have 1 complaint, HEAT. about 10 minutes into each session the temperature reading got to the "red line". is there any relatively simple/cheap way to fix that?

here is a video of one of the sessions as well:

I've set three cars up for the track in the last ten years, and I have to agree with you - heat buildup is a real bummer.

It's hard to tell how high you're revving the engine, but the thermal load increases rapidly at higher RPM's. For most people, getting rid of the extra heat can be accomplished by adding an oil cooler. You can add a larger radiator as well, but I'd start by cooling the oil.

HP = Heat. Cheap solutions: Water with Water Wetter instead of AF may help a little. Short shift. Don't run in the summer...LOL. Real solution: You sound like a good candidate for a better radiator and possibly oil cooler.

I installed Mishimoto radiator recently and it seems to be working fine. The fit was good too.
