BMR panhard bar
just wondering how to measure the rearend to see if it needs adj, where is the measurement taken, i have lowered the car with Eibach springs and would like to install bar, but need to know where to adj too
If you look down the side of each of the rear fenders, you'll see that the wheel on 1 side (passender side) is in more than the other....probably like an 1/8"-1/4". With stock rims and tires it's very hard to see unless you get out there and truly start measuring and examing it. Once you put wide rims and tires on the rear, it's very apparent. The driver's side rim and tire may actually pultrude past the fender just a hair, while the other side sits inside the fender.

Tape a weighted string on the outside of the fenders. Find a point on the wheel, like the top of the rim. Measure from the string to the rim on both wheels. The passenger side should have the larger gap. The body usually shifts to the driver side when lowering the car. Sometimes the body dont move at all.
There isn't much to it - just read the BMR link in post #2 and watch the BMR video linked in post #5. Don't worry if you have to go through an "adjust, drive, re-measure" sequence a couple of times.
I'm recommending the "drive" step before measuring so that the car gets settled to its normal ride height, else your measurements won't be accurate.
Good thought in the instruction link to use a threadlocker, but I'd avoid using the red stuff that takes heat to break loose.
