Well, a local dealer had a customer back out on a 2013 Boss that had all the goodies. Got it for MSRP and and blue book for my 2011 GT...so I did it! Now I have a ton of parts that I took off my GT to sell. Just listed them in the classifieds. Most of the parts came from Sam Strano. Keeping the Boss stock.
You might regret that... I'd wait little while until you get more seat time and the "new" wears off before coughing up the struts and a few other things like maybe the springs and stuff. I'm not saying you need to do it all, and of course you could keep it bone stock. But frankly the Boss suspension isn't that much different than a stock GT. Same bars, springs are stiffer, but still rear stiff (and only about 20 pounds stiffer than what you had stock on the other car). The dampers are "better" than the '11's OEM stuff, but not nearly a Koni in any way shape or form.
Sold most of the stuff already...did alright on the sale. I have no desire to tear into my Boss. Something about having a perfect Race Red Boss in the garage!
