Default 285/35 19??

Has anybody run 285/35 19's on 19x10 wheels on the front of 2013 GT track pack? Not worried about the rear but want to keep the car square. I am currently lowered 1.25" using the Steeda Ultra lite springs and want to get just a little more rubber under the car.

Any thoughts?

The stock rims on any mustang are not 10 inch wide, so you must have aftermarket rims. The offset will probably matter when getting to that size on the front. I have 275s with no issues though, check sig for rim sizes etc.

Of course on the wheels, I'm thinking new tires and wheels here shortly. Thanks for your size input from your sig. I'm willing to bet I get the 285''s to fit in there.

I think so too, there were no issues with the 275 and it was a very wide 275 tire, almost as wide as my 305s in the rear :

wow the 275 almost looks bigger!! Do you have any pictures of your car with the 275's installed on the front, would love to see the fit...

I've got the ultralite springs so my front is sitting a little lower than yours but I figure an extra .25 inch shouldn't hurt.

my rims are 9 inch wide so maybe 10's would be a bit closer to rubbing but it should be ok i would suspect, with the right offsets.

howey industries could get you a set of rims ordered with the right offsets for your plans

Thanks for all the info. I'm still debating between 275's on my stock wheels and 285's on wheels with the right offset. I will have the car in the air here soon to install my Ford racing tranny cooler (ok it's just a wind deflector) so I plan on measuring everything then.

If you have the brembo wheels, I wouldnt suspect any issue and would probably keep those

Met a nice gentleman yesterday at Mustangs at the Queen Mary who had 285's on all four corners with the factory brembo wheels, and he said that it fit without issues, no rubbing on the outside or inside even at full lock, so it's certainly do-able!
