Default Whiteline rear sway bar is done

Sway bar is in and old sway bar location is cut. Now my 10 inch wide rims fit perfect. I can even fit a 12 inch by just moving the bottom of the shock over gabbing up a bracket for the lower mount.

How do you like the ride? I have BMR LCA, and PHB waiting to go in.

I had a Saleen Watts sway bar in there that I pulled out but it was not as big as this one. I did this for room to fit 10 - 12 inch wide rims for slicks. Have not had time to take it out yet due to the great weather we have in the north east... , not expecting too much of a change. I still have it up on jack stands and still need to install the new BMR radiator support and front sway bar delete..

Whats the point of the rad support? I am going to start putting together my front suspension soon.

It's actually a new radiator support that eliminates the swaybar and is lighter. Between the OEM swaybar and the OEM radiator support removal, you're going to lose about 35 pounds

It is a dedicated drag racing mod for when you've already done the major upgrades that you're going to do to the powertrain and rear suspension, and now you're chasing little things to squeeze a few hundredths off your ET here and a couple more there.

It's not a good mod for a street-only car, particularly for a 3.7L car. If it was, Ford would have saved you the trouble by saving themselves the assembly steps and not installed a front bar in the first place.

I'm more of a straight liner and I have had my sway bar disconnected for 2 years and notice no deference. Now I don't do road racing however I do drive it hard so, I don't baby my car. I have had it on the twisties in my area with no issues, would I be able to drive it harder in the twisties with one, sure. Not only is that not very safe to drive that way but its not my thing. If your going to road race your car then you need it (on or off the track). If your a casual driver around town and go to the drag strip to have some fun, rip it out of there....

And this is why I ask the questions. Its great to learn something new and same myself some money in the long run by not buying a un-needed part.
