Default Caster Camber Plates

I have a project coming up of switching out the shocks and struts and want to switch over to adjustable caster camber plates. I was wondering which brands every one uses and what which ones to stay away from.

Thanks in advance.

Maximum Motorsports makes good stuff, so they're one brand.

Consider also Steeda's HD strut mounts, which also feature some camber adjustability.

Both of the above are available through Sam Strano at stranoparts.com which is frequently the first place I check for parts availability.

I had the MM plates on my '07 and was very pleased with the quality and install instructions. However I think I will go with the Vorshlag plates on my new to me '06 that I am building for NASA time trials. I like the alignment marks on the plates and hope to change the camber at the track and then back again after the weekend.

Learning to align the car myself is on my to do list this year however!

I had the Steeda HD Strut Mounts installed on my car for about 2 weeks before I switched to the MM caster/camber plates. There was nothing wrong with them, but my car required some caster adjustment that the Steeda couldn't give it.
I still have them if you are interested in the Steeda HD strut mounts. I just need to get rid of them and I'll give you a good price if you want (plus shipping). Let me know.

Thanks Murph, I will let you know. I am hoping that after this summer the car will no longer be a DD and just be a track car. So hoping to get something that I don't have to change later on.

I have the J&M camber plates. I have them installed the "race" way, so at max camber i have -2.7 or -2.8. At least camber setting I think I am at -1.2. You can also install them the other way, in which the max camber setting there will give you a little more than stock negative camber IIRC. That being said, I will probably go with the Vorshlag plates at some point so I can run -3 or more, but that is because of the slicks I am running on a road course, so if you don't do anything that aggressive they should be fine.

I just installed the J&M plates myself. Nice quality. The spherical bearing is very smooth. I too installed mine in the "race" position. Wasn't sure what the min and max camber adjustment will be with Sportlines though I have yet to get it back on the ground and get it aligned.

I used Maximum Motorsports in my original build but have recently switched to an Air Lift Performance suspension with Air Lift struts that have built in CC plates.
