Default Adjustable UCA Pre-Adjust

Anybody have a pre-adjusted length they set an adjustable UCA before installation so it's ballpark? I have a UPR adjustable UCA w/bracket and I'll be lowered with Eibach Sportlines.

That's exactly what I did with mine. Laid the UPR arm and mount next to the stock arm and mount and matched the lengths up. It still required a little adjustment in the car though. Presumably from the lowering springs.

Shorter, IIRC. But it really needs to be verified with an angle finder.

Thanks, I plan on using an angle finder to get it exact. Just want to get it started in the right direction.

Hmmmm . . . I'd have expected longer, only partly because the firmer bushing in the adjustable UCA should require less PA than the OE rubber thing does.

I don't see this ever needing too much adjustment from the OE length. A 1/8" UCA length adjustment looks like about 0.6° PA change.

I think I agree Norm, logically the UCA should be longer on a lowered car to maintain the original pinion angle. We'll see what happens when I install it in a couple weeks.

Yeah, I agree with you and Norm. Based on the 3-link suspension geometry and lowering the car, the UCA should be slightly longer to adjust PA back into spec.
