Default Koni Orange (STR.T) shocks backordered everywhere?

No stock at Tire Rack, AM, or Late Model Restoration... Does anyone know of a company that has these in-stock?

Not sure but give Sam Strano a call. He carries them as well.

I sent an email yesterday. I'm desperate for a shock that doesn't suck.

I'd recommend calling him. I seem to recall him saying on here that he doesn't deal with email much (I could be wrong), but he has a ton of knowledge and experience. Everyone on here reports nothing but great experiences working with him.

You might want to consider Bilsteins. They give a great ride and have much better grip than the FRPP Tokico's that came on my 2007 Shelby GT.

They are not adjustable, though. That was a plus for me. Might be a minus for, though.

Strano has no stock and ETA of November. I did just receive a notification from American Muscle that they have stock now...

So I became impatient and I ordered a pair of Gabriel Ultras for a vert (p/n 69593). I figured that the vert part would have a little more low speed damping due to the extra weight. They're not bad. There is no dip and wallow at all but they're reasonably plush on broken pavement. They do seem to suffer from the same problem as the stockers in that they have too much high speed compression damping and they don't 'blow off' on a really big hit. But it's not nearly as bad as the stock Track Pack shocks. Overall I'm satisfied. They were $50 for the pair from Amazon.

After driving around a bit more, I started to become fed up with the harsh bump characteristics of the Gabriels. I ordered the Koni Orange units from American Muscle. awww yiss.. Got them on tonight. I understand all the praise now.

They're out of stock again, BTW.
