I heard they auctioned off the cars. Looks like no series.

Not true. NBCs fall schedule shows a Knight Rider TV series, Wednesday nights at 8pm ET.

Ain't it cool news (amongst others) has the press release.

2 versions of the KITT car were sold at B-J auction last month.

They were lots 665 and 665.1

The movie was a little painful to watch, and should have been more hard-edged or more campy and humorous. The cars were fun to watch though! The whine of the supercharger was pretty realistic

don't worry, they had a few when i was on set. Ernie also said that he was gonna help with the televison series by making the hoods.
