hey, im new to forum and hello. terrible speller so sorry up fornt.. i want to ask input or any and all who put on kb blower, pro charger, and the whipple..The kb, whipple are 1000 grand more than the pro charger. Let me know psi running how long and any problems. Everone states that the 08 limmits of the bottom end is 450hp ..I went down to a local shop and they gave me a ride in a gt w/ pro charger auto , dynoed at 466 . sheet in the seat to verify...It ran dam good, i was impressed. Being a auto you would be hard pressed to keep up with it. I watch the bost gauge and it it hard at 10psi when it shifted..he didn't hammer it just rolled into it very good. Just fyi then he gave me a ride in hellion trubo 05 gt built car veryfast..it had solid rear control arms, very noise only race application, ex. when he rolled into the car you would here a klunk from the rear ..very impressive. sorry rambling. Iv'e got 4000 save and tax returns are on the way, got the ok from the wife ....thanks again great site thanks tocobill

To subtract injury from insult the Whipple is a significantly nicer kit with BETTER power delivery. If you don't have large sums of cash to throw around then 450hp will be your benchmark and its just how you get there from then on.

the whipple comes w/ the GT500 fuel pump which is why it is more expensive. if you subtract 700 from the total it comes out about the same price range as other SC kits.

 

thanks , i like the the whipple alot. its between the whipple and the paxton novi 2200 kits. I've spoke to sw tune and the owner is very easy to speak to and has a very good reputaition....so im waiting for carb aproved kit. then to sw tuning in ok. for custome tune..any hp no. on your whipple ? thanks for any input
