haha....you have high goals!! i would be thrilled to put like 10 mileson one!!
10 miles I did that driving it home the first day..LOL....if I can keep it below 10,000 miles a year I will be very happy...its hard as this car is so fun to drive and that is what its meant to be...driven not sitting in a garage colecting dust..

And shella you also realize that your beloved ducati retails for less than the shelby right? As do some NICE bikes like a kawi haha. Oh well.
I gotta learn one thing at a time, Richard, one thing at a time.......but I could definitely forsee a dew-cat somewhere in the future.

As for the car, I think I did alright.......I got it for MSRP.

um yearight shella I know how fast nursing school goes, they push you right under if you can't keep up and you obviously could, so book me a guest suite and we'll make sure you can drive car and bike before the end of the world (next week I think).

ok everyone back on topic continue praising a car that would prolly run door to door with my modded s197 and would get an *excellent* view of my 6R's undertail.

true...But gt500's can be modded as well.......very easily modded, then you can be looking at a gt500's shelby badging and reading it fast as it blows you by your modded s197....LOL..

Screw the economy when you talk about Cobras...
No one said that you need to put 100K miles on it in 3 years[8D].
Special kind of car for special kind of people.
Exactly.

Are you just trying to pee me off?? [>:]

You're a fair-weather Mustanger anyways.....one minute you're Mr Mustanger, the next minute you're Kawi-Man.....one minute you love the car, next minute it uses too much gas........one minute you are letting it get repossessed, the next minute you're keeping it forever............one minute you like old women, the next you like old men...........

no I already said congrats on the purchase, then praised your accomplishments and offerred you more challenges that you could easily handle.

But you're mistaken to say I oscillate (or is it vascillate? IDK) between Kawi and Mustang because bikes pwn all and I've never rescinded that claim. The Mustang is for rainy days and getting take-out and groceries. However, I do wind it out and get it sideways, even do the occasional burnout whilst getting the groceries.

And I don't like old men...although I would like to try on a nurse my own age. Or an 18y/o girl w/e.

in a very small way, i agree with 197richie, bikes are fun, i know, i love mine so much that i took it right to the asphalt yesterday, but the mustang, esp the shelby is very fun. while my bike is far quicker than any stock mustang, it has some pretty predefined limitations.

by your sig pic, I see that you don't have to pick and choose your toys...you seem to be able to have one each of everything fun. I am not so fortunate so must choose, and I choose my bike.

your bike is far quicker than 99.9999999999999999999% of all street legal mustangs (not many vehicles on four wheels that can best a low ten in the 1320).

Limitations of an r1? I assume you mean limited to the ability of the rider...as aforementioned, low tens in the quarter and prolly about 180mph top speed sounds like limitless fun to me. Unless you're talking about its inability to carry passengers and cargo, and the fact that it's no fun in the rain.

You took it to the asphalt meaning you dumped it? If so, sorry man.

love that quote in your sig. makes me laugh everytime i see it right along with your avatar. anyway, yes, i meant as far as cargo and whatnot. i love ridin all summer day long, but thats about all you can do in a bike. i cant get grocerys or take real long roads trips, like 4 hours at a time is my limit. hurt my back in iraq last year and it still haunts me. i can ride that mustang all day with lumbar. the R1 has all custom intake and exhaust, power commander and stabilizer. ive never ran it, but im guessing maybe, hopefully high 9s in the 1/4. i live close to chandler speedway, well phoenix firebird, so i will see if i can get some runs on each toy there. the lightning is mostly stock, due to lack of funds, i am trying my darndest to get a whipple HO next week in the stang and then sell off the lightning. but yeah, had a car cut me off nasty at 40mph on june 2nd and i layed it down hard. full details on that are on OFFTOPIC with OUCHES.... thread. im kinda likein that 08 GSX-R, they look nice...laters man
