For anyone who has a lowered GT500 or Supersnake, what is the the ride quality like on bad roads? I was considering getting a GT500 and putting on Supersnake wheels which would probably mean lowering the car as well. But I don't want a rough ride. Does lowering make the ride much worse in terms of bumps and potholes? I don't want to have a chiropractic adjustment every time I drive the car. I already have that in the Z06
I lowered my 2007 GT500 with the Ford Racing springs using the stock shocks and struts. The ride is a bit stiffer, but still comfortable IMO. It handles better with the rear remaining better planted driving over rough surfaces. It looks way better lowered.
I lowered my GT500 with the Eibach Pro-Kit. Compared to how the ride was at stock height, lowered isn't that much different (IMO).
I just read the above statement I made several weeks back and wanted to make sure that everyone understands it was based on my car having the stock rims/tires on it.
When you change to a 20" rim and low profile tire, you not only loose some overall ride quality when driving on bumpy or harsh roads, but you need to pay more attention to the roads you're driving on since you have a tire with a smaller sidewall that's not going to take an impact like a tire with a bigger sidewall.

Thanks yc.
I think they claim you get a 1.5" drop in the front and a 1.7" drop in the rear with the Eibach Pro-Kit I installed

That looks great! I'm, thinking about doing the same thing with H & R springs.
