Default SVT Track Pack - uncomfortable?

What's it like riding in the 2011 Shelby GT500 with the SVT track pack on normal roads, is it really uncomfortable? I'm not sure if the 2010 GT500 came with the SVT Track pack, but if it does then can some 2010 owners chime in?

thanks!

No track pack on the 2010, I dove a 2011 with no track pack and it is smoother and more nimble than the 2010

Hopefully someone can chime in. I love the performance specs of the SVT track pack, but it's going to make daily driving unbearable then I have to consider whether the sacrifice in ride quality will be worth it.

Thanks.

Default Motor Trend First Drive GT500 SVT

Got the Motor Trend Newsletter in email today. They tested the new GT500 SVT at Virginia International Raceway. It beat last year's car by 9 seconds (!)

Here's what they said about ride comfort:

Let's clarify though: This option is best reserved for those chasing the eleven-tenth. When cruising along the boulevards, it’s the kind of ride that could unsettle the Starbucks in your cup holder.

Thanks. I read that review and that sentence did catch my eye.

However, it's artistically written and hyperbolic. I once had a Cherokee and it was pretty bumpy on the bumpy parts of the highway. Should I expect the SVT Track pack to ride like a truck? I guess I'm looking for some comparisons that I could relate to.

- yeah it rides like a truck
- it rides like comparable sports cars
etc.

If it rides like other stiff sports cars, then I'll tolerate it since the ride stiffness is normal. However if it's worse than other sports cars, then I'd probably have to do without.

.. to continue on..

For example, does it ride worse than a Corvette?

I'm back after a few years

don't have the GTO's nor the bike i do have the
2011 GT500 Svt
2010 Camaro SS HPE with my own suspension and brake package
and the Zo6

its unfair to say the Vette ride is harsh. Its what a sports car suppose to feel like
however the GT500 for 11 is an unbelivable Multi role suspension. 1/4 no problem ...VIR raceway no problem...and cityu driving......you guessed it no problem.

Its a sweet riding car...the way a Stang should have always rode.
that rear axle is no issue on the Svt pac 11.

So any GM guys wanna know from a dual owner......Your in trouble.( even the HPE with MY suspension mods....is only on par with the GT500 Svt....if that.)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Please qualify "no problem", since the original question relates to "comfort". So you're saying the SVT rides comfortably over street conditions?

thanks!

Track pack will stiffen suspension and make it feel more "harsh" for daily driving. There's an opportunity cost that cost is Better Handling for less comfort or More comfort at the sacrifice of handling...

That being said, what do you think ? 2011 Shelby GT500 with or without Track pack for COMFORT.
