Now, I dont't know about that. The new 5.0 Coyote is advertised at only 412 crank BHP, almost 130 crank HP less than the GT500 big brother.

The 5.0L coyote will need some serious mods to see the power that a stock GT500 5.4L pumps out. Even slapping on a simple supercharger will not be enough, because the lower end of the current '11 Coyote lacks the pistons and the forged conrods to take that much boost.

There are people who have pushed these Coyotes to the limit and claim in all sorts of 'Stang mags that they are getting 600 wheel HP with a S/C and/or NOS, but I also would bet that those guys have rebuilt the lower end with better conrods and pistons to take that abuse.
