That's the equivalent of "special" offers for credit cards. Or this time of year, political mailings. Its all bullsh1t junkmail.

No joke... there's literally one scratch on my car... and I'm sure they'd do their best to convince me that it would never sell.

For these legalized scam letters, this is how you respond: Call the dealer back, tell them about teh letter. Tell them that YOU have an MSRP of at least $2 or $3K more that what they are asking for and don't budge. Even to the point that you get angry.

After a tongue lashing, they will get the clue that you are not willing to take a hit on a perfectly good car that they are trying to screw you out of thousands on.

Well, those bastards ain't buying my car back cheap. They could take that stupid letter and shove up their tail pipes for all I care.

The only way they are going to buy my car back is if they pay at least $2K-3K over blue book value. And since they aint ever going to do that, they aint getting my car unless it is on my terms.

if that's the case then tell them you want $20,000 over MSRP like they were doing to everyone else when they sat on their showroom floors for over a year,in some cases 2 years. F#cking Dealers.

I remember when my Shelby was on display at an indoor sports arena sporting a $50k sticker in the window. That sticker was still in the glove box the day I picked it up for an even 30.
