Trunk release problem

Trunk release problem
Hi everyone,
I have a Shelby GT500 2008 and I have a problem with my trunk release. The trunk is opening while I'm driving. The dealer changed the latch while it was under warranty but after 2000 miles the problem is back. And the warranty is over. I'm not sure that the problem was solved.
Does anyone heard this before?
Thanks

Nope.
Remove the power to the realease solinoid and see if it happens again.
If it does its mechanical, if not, its electrical.
Do you have the wet SJB syndrome?
Wet passengers side carpet?
I would bet its not fully catching when closed.
Is there any binding of the emergency release cable/handle?
If it has the dealer stumped, it could be electrical.

I removed the power and the trunk isn't opening anymore (on it's own) But I have the indicator in the dash that says the trunk is open.
And now, if I don't use the car for more than 24 hours the battery is dead. So I imagine that there is a short wire somewhere.
