Exclamation 08 gt500

So I have a totaled '08 and I need to buy another car that was totaled from behind to fix mine.

My question is, what year (if any) have the same body as a 2008 Shelby cobra gt500?

AND does anyone have a recommendation where to purchase another car?

07-09 GT500's have the same body.
These cars are not easy to find in junk yards because of rarety but they can be found.

If the car is to totalled why are you not claiming totaled out on insurance then just looking for a replacement used one?
Very odd thread.

I would think you could use any mustang from 07 to 09. The bumpers, grill and hood is different but I think as far as fenders and body panel should be the same.

The V.I.N. would show as a non Shelby.

And I agree with Blacksmoke, no need to build a Frankenstein car, just have insurance replace it.
And lastly most will agree there is no Cobra in the name.

sorry about the accident...as Blacksmoke mentioned above, the 07's-09's have the same body style.

Let insurance take care of it and get another, if that's what you want. Check Ford dealerships, eBay, Autotrader, Forums, etc..

I was meaning the body not the vin. I figured if it is bad enough to have to change the vin then it's not worth the time to fix it. I agree with y'all. Get a new one. Save the headache.

Not only that but u gotta remember a car labeled totaled is worth squat resale. No GT500 hunter will want a totalled stamped in his cars record unless he's just a hardcore tracker that cares about his times, and if so he will only buy it dirt cheap from you if you ever sell.

cars.com is a great place to look you can narrow down your search to specific details such as totaled. but i agree with everyone else just get money for it and get a similar one
