Does anyone know why on the 15s if you add the performance package that they delete the spoiler on the car?

The spoiler technically is just a visual accessory and actually adds drag. The new s550's are more aerodynamic without it on.

But a wing might serve it better over a spoiler???

Because the fastback design looks incredibly stupid with the spoiler they put on it.

If you are gonna put a spoiler on a fastback, it needs to be a pedestal style or a ducktail.

its a must.. in my opinion

 

The spoiler is way too small and looks like an afterthought. Doesnt flow and is fugly

 

there better be, looks so much better without one.

 

They come without them so aftermarket companies can sell more spoilers. Whatever comes on the car from the factory, the owner is going to take it off and say it is a trick mod. If something didn't come with the car and should have, owners put them on. If it comes with black gauge faces, everyone wants white. If it comes with white, people put in black gauge faces. Same with spoilers, sequential tail lights in the '05 to '08 models, and one-touch convertible top operation.
