The K&N CAI isn't a wise choice since it won't perform any better than the stock one.

 

Hey Scott. I guess I drank the Kool Aid when I read their dyno sheet showing 17 hp gain. But, since ordering, I have read on here that there is no gain. Just a little confused. Don't know if I should just return it or not.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

 

Hey, here's a better suggestion- if you want it/like it, then install it. It's your $$. Stop listening to everyone who has an opinion.

 

Enjoy the mods. If your not apposed to a tune. They are huge for power gains as far as bolt ons go. Post up some pics of the new wheels.

 

K&N is in the business to do what? Why sell parts of course. So they claim a gain of 17 horsepower. Of course testing was probably done under ideal conditions with the hood open and a giant fan blowing on it. Don't be so quick to believe manufacturers claims. But as was already pointed out a tune will make a big difference.

The ATAK exhaust is AWESOME!!! It is very mild at highway speed but is a beast when you get on it. Had the Magnaflow Competition ordered, but I'm glad a changed it.

 

The Borla Atak was one of the catbacks I was considering before I bought the Corsa Extreme but the Borla sounds pretty damn good as well.
