You wont find a video in which a GT500 muffler sounds bad. They sound great in the 11-14 GTs and just as good in the 15+. Its noticeably louder at WOT and stock-like quiet cruising with lots of tone at part throttle. Not sure what you mean with "all that trouble", its the least expensive exhaust for the S550. Mufflers are 150-200 plus less than 150 install. Would you rather he spends $1000 on a catback that will sound like ***?

Darkmach1, you are missing my point, videos don't do the sound justice, at least not on my system. In person is the only way to really know what sounds good to me at least. What sounds good to you may not sound good to me. Flow-masters sounded really good to me on a Fox body 5.0 but sounded terrible on my 2007 GT. They had a really bad drone which wasn't that noticeable on the Fox which I owe to the location of the muffler in front of the axle vs behind the axle. It really makes a difference.

why do you keep talking about GT350s and flowmasters? Guy asked a pretty direct question on whether or not the s197 exhaust would fit on the s550. Ok you can't judge exhaust by videos too well, got it, most people can. Yes I agree there are people that film exhaust videos with potatoes and lots of background noise. But if you search you can find videos where people capture the sound of exhausts setups really well.
