Default Turn signal-strange blinking

It just depends, sometimes my both turn signals skip the middle bulb and blink just two per side, and the indicator on the dash blinks two fast blinks and a pause?
Any ideas?
After restarting it may go to normal.

Check Battery Voltage. These tail lights can do crazy things if the battery gets a little weak even if it still starts and functions OK.

Just had this happen to me today. Was working fine and then all of a sudden the fast click inside, and no middle bar on the driver side. I banged on it a couple times, turned off the car to go to an appointment, and when I get back and started it up, everything was fine. First time this has happened to me. I have just under 57K miles.
