Default Rear visibility with S550 Recaro Seats

Hi guys, I’m considering selling my ‘06 Mustang GT for a ‘17 GT which was my uncle’s who recently passed away. I absolutely love most things about the car but one of my biggest problems is the lack of rear/side visibility with the Recaro seats. I’m sure I would get used to just relying on the mirrors and camera but I was hoping to hear from someone who has them to see what your opinion is. I know some people prefer the Recaro’s and others prefer the regular leather seats with headrests and power options that go along with them. Any advice that you can give me on the seats and any other likes or dislikes with the S550’s would be a big help and much appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Other than being extremely uncomfortable for larger people, I can't imagine visibility being an issue. These aren't racing seats with high bolsters that wrap around you like in a real race car. Drive a car with them and see how you like them. Honestly, the stock power/heated/cooled seats are just fine for most driving conditions.

Thanks for the reply. I did drive the car but because the Recaro’s have one piece headrests (see photo below) you cannot see out the rear window or quarter window when you turn your head like seats with separate headrests so it seems that you have to rely only on the mirrors but I was hoping to hear from people who have them to see if they got used to the limited visibility or if it was an issue for them.

I've actually driven the car with those seats which is why I don't have them. I didn't find any issue with visibility but then I use my mirrors a lot and just glance over once in a while for reassurance when changing lanes. No problems, just damn uncomfortable.
