the bumper number is 298

According to the book. Car #298 is a vert that has the P45 code in the VIN, not P42. Also, the last three of the VIN you posted doesn't match the book. I'm assuming your looking @ a coupe, and if so, I'd say a fake one at that. Only way to know for sure is to call Saleen. Hope this helps.
