Default scraping problems

Has anyone have had any problems with there front tires scraping the wheel well? When i go through a turn hard the drivers side front tire rubs. Also when i hit a dip in the road or bumps. It seems like it is mostly the left front. Not sur ethis is normal, I would hope not. I am gonna go out side now and take a look at it to see if i notice anything obvious. Just curious if this is normal for the saleen. I know its lowered but a little suprised that saleen would sell a car the the wheels bottom outs. Maybe theres something wrong.

It souldn't scrape at all, ever. Take a good look at the bodywork to see if anything is protruding. Also, make sure it has stock tire width in front. 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 is the norm, depending on if you have the wheel upgrade or not.

I finally got my *** under my car to look at whats scraping... It the inner wheel well. The plastic is poped down and i think it has a kink in it and also a crack. Weird. Dont know how that happend. I should be able to bring it to any for dealer right? or do i have to bring it to a saleen dealer? oh and i tried to push it up with my had but it still pops back down???Weird. I really need to jack it up and pull the wheel but its kind of put away for a little long. I have it in the corner of my garage blocked in by my other project car so its hard to get too.

You should bring it to a Saleen dealership. I wouldn't bring it to a regular ford dealer. Whether or not you HAVE to a Saleen dealer is a grey area. If you call Saleen, they will insist you bring it to a Saleen dealer. Technically, you can bring it to a ford dealer, but I still wouldn't. You may be able to fix it yourself. That piece should pop back into place if you can get underneath it. I think if you can get under it, you'll be ok, and not have to bring it to a dealership.

Something is out of place if that has a bump in it, its pretty easy to take that out and see what the problem is if you have the basic tools.I dont like having anyone touch my saleens....no one cares enough about them,They think its "JUST A MUSTANG"

I have tools for it but i wont be able to mess with it any way for a while because i have it stuck all the way in the front corner of my garage and i just started stripping my 90' to prep and paint it. the weather is horrible here anyway right now so ill have to pull the wheel and fender well when i pull it out. But yeah, I have the same opinioon too about bring my car to other people. The only car i ever brought to a dealer to get worked on ws my acura and thats because the tranny was going an it was under warentee... thanks guys for your help...
