Since I have owned my saleen... I have had more people say to me ..... I know Steve Saleen and some claim to know his wife ..
Why do people make this crap up?

........I'll bet RedDevil aka Jared knows Steve and Liz on a first name bases!!

 

Well, a lot of people claim to "know" somebody just because they met them once or twice, shook their hand or got an autograph But since Steve was a very public during his time at Saleen and worked with A LOT of different people over the years, its very reasonable to think he met a lot of people and "knows" a lot of people. Unfortunately I have never met him, therefore I do NOT know him [8D]

I actually dont know Steve. Never met Liz. I said hi to Steve a lot around the office but since we worked in differant parts of the building I never really got to know him.For the most part I mainly worked with Sean and Molly.

I had an uncle who past away many years ago, but at the time he was alinv, he was a city councilman in Philadelphia. I used to work at the polls for hom during elections. I actually had someone come up to me telling me that he was his first cousin. Funny, I never saw this guy at any of the family dinners. People sometimes want to make themselves bigger then they actually are.
