Guys,

Got into a discussion the other night over what colour my Saleen is. I was told when I purchased it that it was Vista Blue. A good friend says it is Sonic Blue. Its a '06 S281 S/C Build number 367.
What are the two different paint codes for Vista and Sonic and where can I check on the VIN plate on the door which paint code I have.

I THOUGHT Sonic Blue was replaced in 2006 by Vista. The paint code is on the mfr tag on the drivers side door jamb, it will be a two digit code in a section labled Exterior Paint Colors, just under the bar code. The two digit code will be right on top of the word Exterior

After looking at their charts, Sonic was 2005 only and Vista replaced it in 2006. Sonic isSN and Vista is G9

 

Cheers buddy. I thought it had superceeded Sonic blue but you know when someone is so arguementative that you start to question yourself....will check it out.
