Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket heat exchanger setup for the 99-04 Saleen S281SC? Specifically I'm looking for one for my 01 'vert with a series II s/c.

I know I can get one from Saleen, but they want nearly $1100 just for the heat exchanger setup, not counting the intercooler itself. so I figured I'd ask around and see if there's an aftermarket one out there.

I need the entire heat exhchanger setup... everything EXCEPT the intercooler. (pump, heat exchanger, hoses brackets etc.)

Anyone?

 

LFP makes a H/E and tank Chicaine has a hose kit pump saleen.....only bracket you would need is for the pump easy fab job.

 

Hey Hollywood.....what did that buy you when you did it? Temps were a lot lower? Did you see increased power or just a cooler intercooler/engine.

If this helped with the power output....any idea on #s?

Last question....how much did that set you back $-wise?

 

I bought the Heat Exchanger from LFP. It didn't come with any brackets,bolts,[/align]or instructions.It was $395.00. I haven't installed it yet.So nothing to report.[/align]

Are you sure you got the one for the Saleen it should have a bracket on top of the H/E plus AN fittings just like the Saleen H/E that's on your car if not they sent you the cobra H/E.

 

I have the Gords H/E and used the stock saleen fans. Very nicequality andmuch bigger than the saleen one.
