I am thinking of removing my JDM Saleen Stage 2 500+ HP kitand going to the Extreme 550 HP kit....

Before I go out and spend2K on another kit I would like to know if there is a interest in these partsas a package, otherwise I am not doing the upgrade, it is currently on my car and has 3K mileson the kit...

JDM Cold Air
Lightning Mass Air Flow 90mm
Adaptor Harness
Extreme Inlet Tube
3.2" Pulley
Belt
39# injectors

I am keeping fuel pump upgrade
SCT Tuner
Spark Plugs
Vac Kit

All you would need is a good tune and the rest of the items, you can get away with the 3.2" pulley on the stock fuel system with a conservative tune, JDM can supply you with the rest of the needed stuff or a local shop...

Moderators if this is what you consider fishing I apologize and please remove my post, I have not posted a price and since the parts are not for sale I am not going to put this in the for sale section...

RE: JDM Saleen Stage II??
I may be interested if you are looking to sell. I am looking to do that setup you are currently running. PM me with the details if you are looking to sell it. Thanks.

Also do you have forged internals? 500+ hp on the stock 4.6 I thought was the limit before they start recommending having forged internals. How much boost does the 3.2" pulley run? I was considering the 3.4 or 3.6.

You don't need forged internals for 550 HP! Getting the speedlab 550 kit next year on my 05 s281

RE: JDM Saleen Stage II??
Thats is what I heard, stock internalsneed to go withhigher lb injectors, I heard there is drivabilty problems to go with the 39# due to pulse width duty cycle...

I am heading the path just since i have the 500 plus kit makes me wonder is I really need it?? YEAH!!

Somebody is going to get my parts for a good price if I head that path...

Even if you get $1k for your old stuff, you're still spending $1K for 50hp which is foolish. You can make your car faster, for less money, with less stress on the engine. Of course, if you are contender for dyno queen of your hood, please proceed as planned.

I will never understand why there needs to befoolish comments on threads...

Some my say it is foolish to own a Saleen but we buy the over priced cars anyways when you can build a better car for the cost...

RE: JDM Saleen Stage II??
I am looking forward to hearing how this mod goes. THe way I see it is as the JDM Stage II already claims more than 500 HP (around 517- 450RWHP+15% at crank). I am guessing the Speedlab kit is a non-JDM tuned kit. I know I have the stage II with a 3.4 pulley in mine, and love it. I love it more because of the driveability than power. It is powerful, but the response is amazing. I wonder how the Speedlab kit feels...I ma sure you will keep us posted, and also that someone who already has the 550 kit will chime in.

On a separate note, if you changed your pulley to like 2.87 or whatever it is along with the injectors/tune, would that be about the same if not better than the speedlab kit?

I believe the word you are looking for is 'sarcastic.' I have yet to see the Polkster say anything remotely 'foolish.' If it wasn't for his sarcasm, I don't think I'd make it through the workday lol. Let's just chalk this one up as a rookie mistake

Im a super nice guy, if I wasnt Id bring up the fact that dheller1 has repeatedly tried to sell things here even though he has less than 50 posts. He's even been warned once already in the for sale area, but I won't rain on his parade, carry on.
