**** I still want 4:10s when I eventually throw a TR6060 in there....I love driving "pony on" Extreme with the 4:10s and TR6060...

I just need to know if it will be covered under the Ford warranty or not. I talked to the service advisor and he said if its the axles they would be covered under Ford warranty.. but he wasn't sure about the differential or ring and pinion.
first off saleen only used ford gears! and second dont let the stealership bs you about the coverage, when you put your vin# in it comes up a mustang gt and can be covered as such. when they order new parts they can put any ratio you want in because fords warranty goes by dollar amount not part number, i know this first hand because ive seen it done dozens of times. ask your dealer to enter your vin on oasis and watch what vehicle shows up.

They just seemed too short for daily driving with the 6-speed. Now it doesn't matter since I had to take gear our for the Turbo's.

Its a slight loss in accel but not very noticable. Being able to stay in a gear longer just feels a little better in the E car. Probably why they switched to 3.73 the folling year.

im wish i went for the 3.55's but im wondering if i would have hurt 6th gear accel to the point of it being useless. its close now.

I would NOT recommend 3.55's. Thats what I'm running now but I have turbo's and a ton more power. 3.55's would make the E car to "sluggish" in my opinion. You would be killing 6 gear.
