Default 2010 Roush 427R

Anyone considering purchasing a 2010 427R? What are your thoughts on pros and cons vs lets say a GT500? I am considering trading in my 06 GT for either a Shelby or a Roush. I am also wondering if I should wait till 2011 for the 5.0 and then see what Roush or Shelby come out with. Anyone have performance stats on the 2010 Roush 427R?

I'd wait and see what the 5.0 looks like. I'd hate to put all that money down and then wish you had something else. At least after you check it out you can make an educated decision as to whether it's worth it or not.

GT500 vs Roush.......do you like straight line acceleration or handling? That's kind of your tradeoff right there. Roushes are quick too...but you can modify the GT500 to the hilt and get big HP numbers. Then again...they are nose heavy and don't have comparable handling to a roush 427R

I think I am going to wait until 2011, I like the new interior, much improved steering and handling and fit and finish of the 2010. I hate my interior on my 06 GT, thought I could live with it when I first bought it. Not crazy about the ride and handling either. I want a Stang that has a nice comprise bt straight line acceleration and handling. My current Stang is just a weekend cruizer not a road coarse or drag car. A Roushcharged 427R 5.0 with 500+hp sounds SWEET.

I would also wait for 2011 to see the 5.0.

If I was in the market right now, I would have to pic the GT500. So long as you can get both at or around MSRP I'd go with the GT500.
