Default hookin up my 01 281sc

My 2001 281sc is mostly stock with just CAI and magnaflow high flow x pipes. what mods should i make next? I already know i should do the pulleys but what other mods should i make? headers? throttle body ? I wanna get my car to dyno around 350 without losin much reliability, the car dynos around 290 at the wheels right now. I'm willing to spend around $2500 at the most. Is the dense air charger on the car any good ? the previous owner put that on.. I have seen kits where you get the cai, throttlebody and plenum for around 500 bux. I would prefer to keep the cai on there but its not much to look at for show purposes so I'm willing to replace it if I can add power and looks under the hood together.

OK, I'll respond. I would suggest a slight increase in boost, say 2-3 lbs only, an Accufab TB, two sizes up on the injectors (30's?), and perhaps headers. You may need to re-flash the ECU, but you may be where you want to be in the HP department. Boost is a good thing, but your bottom end can only handle so much. Keep it moderate!

:-)

hahaha its a S281 SC -its allready got a blower. im getting ready to a buy a 2002 s281 SC myself and im planning on adding bassi ceremic coated headers, bassani x pipe magnaflow cat backs and change the gear ratio to 3:73. what pully do you reccoment? by the way, im also going to add a short shifter so if any of you have a reccomendation on that id appreciate it.

sorry one last thing, i want yokohama ultra high performance tires; what kind?

I meant a real blower. The crappy, inefficient roots blower is hardly worth anything. Get a series IV twin screw blower for some bigger gains.

Im uying from a private seller, hes a motor head with 5 other cars -takes real good care of them. this guy told me that the blower on the s281 sc that he was sellling me was a "twin screw" however he didnt say anything about a "series IV". should I replace the stock blower or is the stock "twin screw" fine?

Ask him if the blower is stock or if he upgraded it.
