It does have an awesome handling suspension. What I question is whether the handling characteristics changed and how much AFTER he lowered it. It comes with the suspension set at "2" from the factory. Adjusted all the way to "5" I don't see how he didn't think the car handled well!!

IMHO it looks like crap with the lower portion of the stripe removed.

i agree either take it all off or leave it all on..and i still dont understand why he said he lowered it and powdercoated the rims in response to my question...oh well

nice vids man. and im going to beat a dead horse again. this boss section should be up with the 05-12 forum like the Shelby cars. technically since the gt500 is a Shelby, the boss 302 is more ford than it, this forum is dead because no one uses it. all the questions and comments on the 12 boss 302 end up in the 5.0 GT section or the main s197 section.

Not all BOSS Mustangs are S197 cars. They were in this section before the release of the 2012.

that is part of the reason id rather see the new boss cars up with the other cars. TBH the roush and saleen s197 should be there too. all the questions on those cars get asked up in the normal s197 forums generally.

I see what you are trying to say, but these cars tend to have a different following, and owners tend to know more specifics about them. If you watch threads about them posted in other areas, you'll see a lot of wrong info or 'I heard, I think' type comments that are way off base. Using myself as an example (there are many in this section that could be used), I don't own an S197 Roush but due to my dealings with them, I could provide a better answer to many of the Roush specific questions than the typical S197 GT owner.
That being said, it's not like any member is restricted to just posting in the section of the vehicle she or he owns.

I'm old and grumpy, so I'll call BS.

I wanna see the birth certificate!

Show us the window sticker matched to the cowl VIN. Any thing less, it's a replica by a dumbass.

I'm very much not in the know on the red key issue, I know it exists and all that but I did not know that there was a waiting period before you could use it? that doesn't sound like it makes much sense.

and i understood the post about the missing stripe to say that the stripe impacted the handling? what? haha something here is fishy

The red key is an after purchase option only available to registered Boss owners. It can't be provided at time of sale without violating EPA fuel economy restrictions. I believe the cost is just under $400.
