If you're the same Steve I talked to Friday night to do the verification, did you end up buying her?
And for those who may be wondering, it was built as a 3-Valve convertible with no options, but it had a lot of aftermarket parts including a Speedster tonneau and evidently a supercharger installed and tuned by Brenspeed... sounds like a nice low-mile car.
It's best to do verifications by email -- I can do them at jimd@soec(dot)org -- include the full Ford VIN in the email and I'll return it with the the verification that it's a Saleen (or not) and the options as equipped from the factory. We don't need the production number (also referred to as bumper number).
If you want an opinion on the car, jot a brief note and a link to the location of the ad online.
You can order a Letter of Authenticity but we're still working with Saleen on the new format and presentation, so those and reproduction Window Stickers are currently on hold, so don't expect one right away.
