Saleen reprograms on-board computers in a fashion that does not support cat,O2, or evap monitors. These will fail the Massachusetts emissions test portion of yearly inspections under 310 CMR 40.02 tampering law- citing rendering inoperative any device or element of design installed in compliance with regulations under 203(a) of the federal clean air act.


Does Saleen or Ford provide a reflash that will revert ECM to supporting cat, O2 and evap monitors that will still allow vehicle to operate properly? If not,
they will have to start earmarking their vehicles as not street legal in Massachusetts
