It says right there it works for late model COP cars. Same switch reference by the OP.
That window switch does not require a tach adapter, I've never looked into window switches made by MSD. Is this the only model that does the COP feature, or do all of their window switches operate this way?

Says right here in the instructions how to wire it in...

WIRING

This is the On/Off wire. Connects to switched 12 volts.
BLACK
Connects to a good ground source.
WHITE
Signal Input. Provides the trigger signal from a tach input, +5-12 volt signal from an ignition tach output terminal, ECU output or coil negative terminal.

Not sure really. I think it may just be this one.

I noticed that in the product discription. It must have a built in tach adapter, because connecting to just one coils negative side would only give you the firing signal of that one coil instead of a global signal to all coils.

Tim I also have the msd digital like you posted. I have if tapped into cyl #1 green with white stripe wire. The switch reads rpm but will go to 0 for no reason when I'm at 3k or whatever till redline. What wire are you tapped into for the tach? Did you use the yellow or grey wire? What are all the settings you have it at?

When you are driving around does the rpm on the switch match the rpm on your tach? I had to re-splice into the wire once because it wasn't making a good connection and the rpms would bounce all over the place.

I have the white wire that comes from the switch tapped into the white wire w/red stripe going into the COP on the #8 cylinder. The red wire should be the common color for each COP, you want the other wire.

When the switch powers on, I have the first setting set to 1 cylinder. The yellow wire coming out of the switch connects to the negative on your solenoids and grounds the solenoids when the selected rpm is reached.

I am just guessing on the shift light, but I would think the same wire would work as long as you have the option to set the light using one cylinder. It shouldn't matter what cylinder you use, as long as you have the correct wire.
