What is this coming out of my front bumper?

Default What is this coming out of my front bumper?
They look like some sort of bolt-on solution for towing the mustang behind a RV or something.



These aren't OE are they?



Some rust on both sides. Looks like it's made for towing or something.



Underside. Bolted to the frame supports.

Maybe the previous owner couldn't back down a trailer and had a hitch point added to the front of the vehicle to move his trailer around.
