Default 2002 3.8 vert w/ Mach sound system: Front speakers not working

Hello, new to the forum. My front speakers aren't working which I assume produce the bass (sorry for my ignorance, I know very little about audio systems). The rear speakers do work and so do the tweeters. They didn't work with the stock deck and I put in an aftermarket deck and they still don't.

i've checked the connections to the amp and they are hooked up but I haven't followed the wires up to the speakers yet.

What would likely be the culprit? I haven't checked the fuse and for all I know the speakers could be blown.

Actually the front bottom speakers are the same as the rear other than size. Can be 2 or 3 way..usually 2 way. One pair of my fronts dont work either..cant remember if its the 2 ways or the tweeters. never did find why...but didn't take my door apart. Either the wires are broke or they have come disconnected...or worse the speakers are both shot.

Just curious did you have to buy a wiring harness for the after market head?

Here is a link to what fits a MACH460 system .... https://www1.crutchfield.com/Car/outfitmycar/mycar.aspx

I didn't buy a harness and did a bit of chopping. There is a harness from the stock deck that is not used that apparently powers the amps.

I switched the amps and no real difference. I do have bass now but it's coming cron the tweeters and the door speakers still produce no sound. I did buy a harness to wire in that last plug but I doubt that will fix my problem, as the speakers didn't work with the stock radio either. My guess is that I will not really be able to troubleshoot until I get that harness. Even if one of the amps was good when I swapped them, I still wouldn't have gotten bass because of that harness.

Also, this is the harness I ordered. Crutchfield indicates that this is the correct harness for the standard Mach (non-460) sound system.

I never heard of a standard non 460 MACH..its either a MACH460 or its a regular sound system.
