Been a few months since I've had the '09 KR out, been sitting in my climate controlled garage. Pretty shocked to see this!

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any way to fix this?

 

No matter the interior, sooner or later heat and humidity take their toll, especially vinyl. Any good car upholstery shop can fix this in minutes.

 

I agree with taking it to an upholstery shop. However if you are a good DIYr you can carefully tape off the surrounding area, spray adhesive glue to both the flap and door, let it tac up according to directions and then carefully stick it back together starting at the bottom and working up to the top edge.

 

There is a long **** thread on this topic in the S197 forum. Well known issue for the foam backed vinyl used in this generation. Various solutions will be in the thread.
