Rusted lower door skins repair
My 67 mustang has rusted lower door skins and door shell bottoms. They are otherwise in pretty refurbishable shape.
Im not sweating repairing the door shell
bottom rust but id like to submit this for suggestions regarding the lower door skin rust.
I do not want to fully reskin the doors. The upper door skin metal is nice and straight and id hate to throw it away.
This lower door skin rust goes all the way across and actually flapps in the wind.
Im thinking about just simply cutting across to good metal then tig in a new strip of metal and crimp on the bottom and sides.
Ever seen one this bad? What did you do?
