2011 Mustang GT replacement fog lamps dont get power
Hello, I bought my Mustang 4 years ago and when I got it the fog lamps were covered in black paint and the vehicle side-connectors were disconnected and zip tied to the radiator frame. The fog lamps were also aftermarket because they didnt fit on to the vehicle side-connecters. I took the liberty of buying oem-style fog lamps from LMR thinking it would just be plug-and-play but of course it was not. The lights themselves do work with a power probe, the 15A fuse for the fog lamps are good, and the relay is being commanded on(i did the clicking sound test). But power just isnt reaching the front harness. i even followed the wiring up and didnt see anything particularly abnormal or tampered with. I also would like to note that the only thing that got any power on the vehicle-side connectors was just the negative terminal in the passenger side fog lamps but thats it.
This car has taught me a lot on how to fix things by yourself but im lost when it comes to electricity and wiring so if anyone who is savvy can educate me on where to look or what to check I would be very appreciative.
