so are you going to slipstream a sp3 cd?

I downloaded like 50 new songs for rock band last night. Been having fun, I bought my own rock band set so I dont have to worry about moving it up/down stairs.

I can't install SP1 until they come out with the multi language pack. I download all the language packs for the hell of it so the standard sp1 wont install :P

I need to put SP3 on my laptop.. they shipped it to me with xp and I am too lazy to put vista on it.

 

Yep, going to do it tonight. I was going to do it this morning, but my dvd-rw wasn't recognized. Had to reconfigure it in the BIOS, and by the time I got all that done, I had to leave for work.

My original install disc is straight XP. No service packs at all. I slipstreamed SP2 a long time ago. I figure I might as well do SP3 too.

 

My original was also pain but it wasn't legit and I got tired of MS's WGA thing so in 2006 while I had good income I gave in and paid MS $100 to make it legit and get a holo-disc
then in dec 2006 I paid MS ($10) for a second CD key (then found the lost one) (now I have 2 real xp cd Keys)

so in summery
2004 (win 2k SP4)non-legit
2005 (upgraded to XP plain)non-legit
2006 (legit SP2 Holo CD)
2007 (2 real CD-keys)

 

I worked at a computer retailer and custom PC builds store at the time, and I got stuff cheap. I was able to buy XP Pro for a lot cheaper than normal, so I did.

I have a copy of Devil's 0wn too, but it's pretty much worthless nowadays.

I can upgrade, clean install, ect but it didn't come with the full box (just the case and a little paper)
it says WGA kit

 

We definitely need a kemah weekend or something else. What is everyone doing this weekend?
