it looks like they use differant calipers

I could be wrong so a side by side compare is the only way to be sure

and that rock auto has the calipers for 70 each

actualy I'm pretty sure their differant calipers

the GT brakes require a 17" rim to fit and the 6'er base (non-pp) brakes fit in a 16" rim

Actually I don't think they are different. I will have to find the post where people were talking about it.

V6 & GT rear brakes/rotors are the same. Front calipers are same, but rotors are different, but the calipers mount differently on a GT, so you need some sort of mounting bracket.

That makes it easier, so I can just upgrade to slotted/drilled rotors and get the caliper relocation bracket and be done.

lol, one of the mods must really have something out for the state of Texas.

I asked Professor Wizard, one of the mods, if it would be ok to post an announcement in the main forum regarding that cruise I'm trying to put together. He said it was a great idea, but to just put a post in the main forum pointing to the main thread down here.

But each time I try, the thread gets moved. This last one lasted all of 120 seconds. SECONDS.

So for all of you wondering why I have three threads regarding the cruise I'm trying to put together, that's why. My bad. I wasn't trying to clutter up the forum.

Oddy maybe-a-boost a spark would be the way to go. I thought about upgrading my coils but both Richard and Matt gave me an ugly look and told me not to. The new coils don't last and are problematic. Look how often you see threads about having problems with them.
