Lets start a new thread for a get-together or something in the DFW area.

I know that DFWstangs have get togethers regularly, but they are not at good times for me.

That sounds good also. Did you already start one? If so, what is the title?

I understand about the schedule being wrong which brings me to another question. My work schedule is really strange compared to most other peoples.

Here is when I work, but understand that I can take off at certain times to make events every once in awhile.

I work a compressed schedule where basically I work from 7pm-7am. It works out where I work 48hours and then off for 4 days and the next week I work 36hours and then off 3 days. So, here is my weekly schedule...
Every other Wednesday night (swing shift)
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

So you can see whymy fiance and I have problems meeting with folks (mustang meets)when I work most of the weekend with such a screwy schedule. I do have a fair amount of paid time-off saved up and would be willing to take some off to meet some stang owners.

So, unless your schedule matches to mine I would suggest everybody with the normal work schedule to decide the times and I will have to make all of them that I can. I will be willing to help in any way possible if need be. I will still keep those posted about the times when we are planning on going to the tracks.

Yeah, and I work 3rd shift, so I am doing 9pm-6am pretty much Sun-Thu.

I did NOT start another thread yet for our specific area. But I did see an 08 S-GT on my way to work tonight.

Newbie from the Houston area here, just found this section of the forums. Just bought my Mustang a few months ago, 1990 GT convertible, Red with a white top and interior.
