SHINER BEER!
I knew BEER would get your attention! 
Wouldn't it be a blast to gather this spring or maybe late summer or fall in Shiner, TX for a tour of the Spoetzl brewery? Not around time for Wurstfest in New Braunfels (CRAZY crowded area then!).
Probably not a lot of activity in this part of the forums, but it would be a blast to zip through the Hill Country (check out the site's links to Bandera and Blanco and a bunch of the other towns) and see Shiner, Fredericksburg, Boerne, and (of course!) Luckenbach - some GREAT photo ops! Maybe some folks would want to beat the heat and tour some of the caves or have a day of tubing on the Guadalupe river. Maybe The Alamo or The Riverwalk?
