Theres a 1/8 mile strip in Mooresville and another 1/8 in Pageland SC. Rockingham has a 1/4 thats a nice track also.</P>

 

Does anyone know of any tracks closer to the Raleigh area? Also, any good suggestions on where to get a spoiler for a 89 Mustang Lx?

 

I stay toward the coast near jacksonville,home on leave.

 

if ur looking for a strip close to raleigh, the best would be at benson. 45 mins away. go thursday nights, its race night and tear the s**t out of some imports. im from cary and the drive to benson isnt bad at all. also, i recently went down to rockingham for the holcomb motorsports sponsered civil wars and it was awesome. its just a straight shot down US 1. but its about 1 hour and 45 mins or so.

 

ncgirlstang.........i have a 93 lx spoiler that i dont need. i dont know if u want a new one or what though. its in great condition and it has the brake light and all. u could also try carolina mustang which is in downtown cary near the train station. their number is 467-2900 and go to the high performance department. let me know if u are interested in the stock 93 lx spoiler. if u are, or want more information, email me at jdc1986@aol.com.

 

kinston drag strip has test and tune every thursday night from 7 until about 11. It is a 1/4 mile track. I think admission is $15 per car and that is unlimited runs. If it rains before 8:30 you get a raincheck ticket and u can come back the next week for free.

 

Where in Benson is the track? I live in Willow Spring right off of 50. My car isn't that fast yet but I'd like to see some runs.
